At the start - settling in and keeping you informed

I know that putting your child in the care of someone you don't know can be a worrying time for your entire family. You will have many questions to ask and concerns as to whether my service is the right choice for you and your child.

There are no silly questions

I have tried to be as honest as possible and provide answers to many of your questions right here on my website.

I encourage all the parents I work with, present and future, to ask me anything, because where your peace of mind and your child's welfare is concerned, there is no such thing as a silly question.

Helping you and yours settle in with me

If you decide that my service offers what you are looking for in your childcare, we will arrange for a number of visits for you and your child to meet me, my family and get to know us. There is no limit on the number of settling in visits - some of my parents have been happy after one or two, while others have visited a few times. The important thing is that you and your child are 100% comfortable with me, my service and the setting.

During this period I go through my policies and procedures with you (a copy of which you can review on the My qualifications and downloadable policy information page on this site), take a note of any dietary or specific requirements and answer those all-important questions.

Keeping you informed

I have good working relationships with all my customers and keep them updated with how things are going and obviously inform them immediately of any issues or concerns. I also like to provide regular information updates:
